Hi, I’m Katie – the founder of Creating Impact.
After working in local government for 10 years, I’m now building a not-for-profit consultancy focused on creating systemic change to help people, places and the planet to thrive.
Creating Impact sits on the more adventurous side of sustainability. Working with trusted partners, we look beyond technologies to how mindsets and structures need to evolve to create lasting change.
MISSION-DRIVEN CONSULTANCY
Sustainability professionals, communities and local government are all striving to create impact. But we’re often constrained by limited capacity, fragmented skillsets and a lack of practical tools to navigate complexity, shift mindsets and turn ambition into action.
During my time working in local government, I’ve experienced how these challenges play out. Eroding confidence, fuelling frustrations, exhausting change-makers and, ultimately, widening the gap between ambition and action.
Creating Impact seeks to address these challenges through our missions:
Mission 1. To inspire, empower and support purpose-driven professionals to become unstoppable change agents.
Mission 2. To create the conditions to enable communities to lead transformative change and thrive within planetary boundaries.
Mission 3. To help local government unlock the potential of devolution, turn strategies into meaningful action and drive systemic change.

Creating Impact Sustainability Consultancy Ltd is registered as a private company limited by guarantee. This means there are no shares, and no shareholders. Any surplus will be reinvested back into delivering our missions, rather than paid out as dividends.
This enables us to deliver services at cost, ensuring we provide value for money for our clients. And, maximise the impact we’re creating.
